Welcome

Welcome to the West Bountiful 3rd Ward Family Preparedness blog. This blog is intended to assist the WB3 Ward members to be physically AND spiritually prepared.

Family Reunion Plan

This post is not about getting together with all your relatives once a year. It is about what to do if your family is not together when a disaster strikes. To prepare for these separations:

Identify a neighborhood reunion site. Pick a place as close as possible, where it should be safe to gather and where you it is reasonable to have access to. List two or three options (neighbor's home, West Bountiful Elementary, West Bountiful City Hall). When other family members or ward members begin looking for you, leave a note behind! This gives them a list of where to look.

Choose a relative or friend who lives at least 100 miles away, who can be contacted if it becomes impossible to reach you or your reunion locations. Leave that information on the note you leave behind.

Make small cards with this information for each family members to keep in their wallets, purses or backpacks. Keep this information with you at all times.
