Family Documents

Keep these records where they can be gathered quickly, in a water proof container or a small fire safe. You may want to consider making copies and storing them with a neighbor, friend or relative that lives a reasonable distance away. Much, if not all of these, can be scanned and sent to a relative via an email which then could be stored on their computer. Larger files could be copied to a CD.

Contracts
Deeds
Stocks and Bonds
Passports
Social Security Numbers
Immunization Records
Bank Account Numbers
Credit Card Numbers
Inventory of Household goods, including photos of the same for insurance claims
Family Records, Genealogy, Family photos.
